Much love and have a wonderful day!

  1. For rows 13-24 are we actually supposed to repeat row 12?

  2. Can I use 4mm hook as I don't have 5mm

    ReplyDelete
  3. I imagine you could, but you might have to add some more rounds to make up for the tighter gauge you'll get from a smaller hook.

  4. Maybe I'm just not seeing it, but how many inches around at the brim is this pattern as written?

    1. Nancy...I was wondering the same thing...did you find out the size...?

    2. Size is not listed ... although most adult beanie's made with men in mind are avg. 22" to 24" around and avg. 8.5" to 9" long from top of crown to just below the ear.... There are lot's of "hat sizing tips and such, right here on Pinterest ... just use your "SEARCH BAR" Can also try "YOUTUBE" ..hope this helps

    1. This isn't a reply, but a question. You made it for several people. How did it fit? Is it One Size Fits All or were you able to adjust the sizes? Thank you!

  10. I am having trouble at the 'join' after row 12. It doesn't lay right, seeming to spread. Is it really essential to join, or can this party be worked in continuous round?

  11. Thank you so much for this pattern. It is a great one for men and I love the way it works up. Have you posted it in a child size? The little boys in my neighborhood would love one, but I do not know how to reduce the size correctly. Thanks again, for this pattern!

    1. Sista Kirst ... I wrote to you in comments below before seeing this “reply” button. In the end, I did NOT count the CH2 as a stitch. I just frogged it to get the right number of DCs and my beanie turned out great. I wish I could figure out how to share a photo of it.

    2. Chain 2 does count as the first stitch. It keeps each row with that row's design correct from row to row.

  13. I have been wondering same thing as I always have wrong number at end of a row and have to frog last two stitches.
